Workshop Schedule For Francis Rico

Hello friends,

The time for is fast approaching for Francis Rico’s workshops and healing sessions. Since our original invitation to you, Francis has made some changes so please read the new descriptions. I think you will be pleased to see that some prices have been reduced and the Sunday, June 10 workshops (2) have been combined into one fantastic workshop where, along with connecting with our guides and plant and animal allies, we will be learning the curandero “egg cleansing” technique. We will go into the chicken coop, pick out our egg and practice this technique on each other. I have done this before and it’s quite revealing and also a lot of fun!

The healing sessions are filling up. They will be held in Chapel Hill, Saxapahaw and Durham at Health Touch. If you want a session, please register now before it’s too late.

And don’t forget the free talk at The Oasis in Carr Mill Mall, Carrboro.

Discovering the Shaman Within – Discovering the Wilderness Within with Francis Rico – Shamans have always been explorers of the expansive creative energies at the core of life – and now, life itself is calling to the shaman within each of us to share our gifts and to align ourselves with the ancient wisdom traditions that can help us heal ourselves, our families, our friends, and our world. In this free interactive evening gathering Francis will share shamanic practices to:
• Move away from our cultural “entrancement.”
• Reorient with deep natural processes.
• Restore your innate feral intelligence and agility.
• Discover how to draw on your glimpses of wild inspiration.
• Ignite your enormous potential for inspired action.
• Pull back the curtains on the secret wisdom traditions that
are central to empowering, rejuvenating, and enjoying your
life, no matter what.

Wednesday, June 6, 7:00 to 10:00
Journey to the Lost Temple of Regeneration, 1237 Privet Drive, Graham (off 87 near Saxapahaw) 27253

The search for the “Fountain of Youth” never panned out, because it was never an external reality – from the beginning of time, shamans have known and taught that it’s an inside job.

This gathering is an adventure into the ancient wisdom traditions and practices that help us turn back the clock on aging, restoring vibrant health and creative vigor.

We will journey to the Lost Temple of Regeneration and there we will work with practices that:
– Access your neural plasticity for instant growth,
– Greatly increase your energetic capacity
– Recover energy from limiting negative habits and behaviors
– Shape a new responsive relationship with Spirit

Bring layers of clothing – we’ll be inside and outside – also bring a cushion and/or blanket to make yourself comfortable – bring a notebook, pen, and water.
$35.00 – pre-registration recommended.

Saturday, June 9 – Water ceremony starts at 5:00 and the workshop starts at 6:00 and ends at 10:30.
Workshop location:
612 Brookview Drive, Chapel Hill.

The Mitote – Experience Toltec Dreaming – We begin at 6:00pm with a Toltec water ceremony – an ancient ceremony of alignment with the flow of the light that was, is, and will be the expansive explosion of YES that is our cosmos and our home. This is a free ceremony – all are welcome, and you do not need to join the evening dreaming gathering to share in this blessing. $45.00

At 7:00 Toltec Dreaming – an evening of applied wisdom and ceremonies, in preparation for an experience of the ancient Toltec Dreaming Practice called the Mitote. Originating in ancient Mexico and taught by the Naguales (shamen) and Curranderos (healers) at the University of Spirit and Mystery at Teotihuacan, the Mitote is a field of expansive energy that is called in to support your direct experience of the way you dream/create your reality. The practice helps you find the flexibility that allows you to change your “reality” for the better.

For the evening dreaming portion of the evening, bring blankets, a yoga pad, a pillow, and whatever it takes to make yourself very comfortable for dreaming . Bring water and a note pad.
$45.00 Pre-registration recommended.

Note well: This is a private home with limited parking. There will be room for half dozen cars in the driveway and there is on street parking. Park as far off the road as you can and if possible, ride share with a friend.

Sunday, June 10 – 10:00 to 1:00 – Animal Allies and 2:00 to 5:00 – Plant Allies, 8773 Holman Mill Rd., Snow Camp

All Our Relations – A powerful connection with our animal guides, plant allies and mineral companions already exists because there is a wilderness within us! And the rediscovery of our ancient connections within this world offer us access to natural resources and guidance that seem magical and miraculous to those stuck in the isolated contracted state of our western “civilization.”

We will explore our alignment with the innate intelligence within all of life. This deeply healing work is of particular importance now, as the fabric of life on our planet has become increasingly compromised.
You will learn to make direct connection, to communicate with allies who have been waiting for this moment! Bring your drum, and be prepared for guided shamanic journey.

We will explore the healing potential of our guides and “power-animals” including special work with the Toltec Central Mexican currendero practice of “Egg-Cleansing” – using an egg to remove compromised and negative energies and illness. We will also perform herbal “limpias” – a plant based cleaning and clearing practice.

You will be coming to a farm with both large and small animals, so wear substantial shoes, bring outdoor clothing, water, and a box lunch for our half hour lunch break.

Gather at 10:30 – $35 Pre-registration is recommended; the workshop is from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

About Francis Rico:
Francis apprenticed with his Spanish grandfather – a Maketo Shaman. From this early start, his life has followed the pathways of indigenous shamanic wisdom traditions of the Americas and around the world.

As a guide to magical places, including Teotihuacan, Mexico, and Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley in Peru, Francis brings insight, humor, and music along on every journey, opening doorways of perception to opportunities for transformation and connection to the radiant essence of revelation.

His home lies in Northern California, where he shares the beauty of the wild coastal mesas, cliffs, and ocean in support of his shamanic teaching, healing and counseling practices.
